Acceptable Use Policy - India

Introduction and Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and guidelines for using the ERP software provided by Zeekoi to its customers in India. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all users understand their roles and responsibilities in using the ERP software in a way that protects the security, integrity, and availability of the system and its associated data, as well as complies with relevant laws and regulations in India.

Scope

This policy applies to all users of the ERP software provided by Zeekoi in India, including employees, contractors, and any other individuals who access the system.

Acceptable Use

  • Users of the ERP software must use the system in a lawful and ethical manner, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations in India. Specifically, users must:
  • Use the ERP software only for the purpose of conducting legitimate business on behalf of their organization, and not for personal or unauthorized purposes.
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the ERP software and its associated data by using secure passwords and following all security procedures as outlined in zeekoi Security Policy.
  • Not disclose or share their login credentials with any unauthorized individuals, and report any suspected security breaches or incidents to Zeekoi immediately.
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations related to data privacy and security in India, including but not limited to the Indian Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
  • Use the system in a manner that does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Zeekoi or any other party, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, and patents.

 

Prohibited Activities

 

The following activities are strictly prohibited when using the ERP software:

  • Introducing any malware or malicious code that may compromise the security or integrity of the system or its associated data, or cause harm to other users or systems.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the system or any data stored within it, or to any other systems or networks without proper authorization.
  • Using the system to harass, threaten, discriminate against, or defame any individuals or groups, or to distribute any content that is obscene, offensive, or illegal.

 

Violating any applicable laws or regulations related to data privacy or security in India, including but not limited to the Indian Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

 

Consequences of Violation

 

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract, and legal action or prosecution in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations in India.

 

Policy Review

 

This policy will be reviewed regularly by Zeekoi to ensure that it remains current and effective in protecting the security, integrity, and availability of the ERP software and its associated data, as well as complies with relevant laws and regulations in India.
